My stylist was amazing and I liked what she did with my hair. The staff is friendly and I had an awesome time, expect for one detail. What disappointed me was the price. I had been putting off getting my hair colored because I don't have that much money to spend. My regular stylist charges a little over a $100 and I knew Salon LaPage does, too. So, when I got the coupon, which was $69 for hair color and hair cut, I was thrilled. I could actually get my hair colored that fit in my budget at a great salon.
I get there and I show my stylist the red hair color that I want and she tells me that to get the results it's going to need be two different colors, a darker under tone to make the wine color red have some contrast, just like my picture. I agree and at no point in this process am I told it's going to be extra money on top of my coupon. When I go to check out the bill is $129 before tip!
I was in a hurry because I had another appointment to get to, but later on a checked my bill and they had charged me for each bottle that was used for the over lay. Now, I'm okay paying for each bottle, but I should have been told of this price before it went in my hair, especially when I told my stylist my reason for putting off getting my hair colored for awhile.
I am pleased with everybody there. I love my hair and how it turned out, but I need to know what extra charges are going to be added so I can plan accordingly. If it wasn't for this issue I would have given my experience 5 stars.
