Poor customer service. I was not satisfied with the service that I received from Salon Luce, so I wanted to use the balance on a gift card that I received as a gift to purchase products that are sold in the salon and I was told by the owner Lisa that "gift cards can only be used for services not products and she said "I will lose money if I allow you purchase our products with a gift card." She said that was their policy. The back of the gift card reads, "You may use this card by presenting it for payment when making a purchase." It also says "Card is redeemable for purchases only". I requested to see the policy and she said "I am the owner and it is my policy". I recently received a birthday email from the salon that said "Celebrate your birthday with us this month at Salon Luce, receive $10.00 off any products or services". Lisa advised me that she would not sell any products using the gift card or gift certificate. This is false advertisement and I am now out $35.00. I was not happy with the first haircut that Lisa gave me but I had a balance remaining on the card so I went back for a 2nd hair cut and I was still not satisfied so I wanted to use the remaining balance towards products and I was not permitted to do so. BE AWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES AT THIS SALON.
