Starting with just one treatment room over 20 years ago, the practice of Sam English, D.D.S. has expanded and now occupies seven locations across the state of Virginia. With a team of over 75 auxiliary personnel and 12 doctors, the Dental Centers of Virginia offer the convenience of seven professionally staffed offices allowing most procedures to be completed in-house. All of the doctors and staff members are committed to continuing education and take classes to stay current in the latest advancements in dentistry.

I received a call the morning of my scheduled appointment telling me they needed to reschedule for two weeks out without an explanation as to why. I happily rescheduled, and then when I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, was promptly informed that they were running thirty minutes behind for my 4:15pm appointment. Being that you're hard-pressed to find anyone working at this practice after 4:00pm, the dentist had to clean my teeth because there was no hygienist still working that late. The dentist was very pleasant, but obviously wasn't thrilled to be kept late, so she rushed through cleaning my teeth, almost to the point where I called back and requested that it be redone. Also, it seems like this practice can't ever keep the same people, as the staff (including doctors) is different every time I visit. Needless to say, I'll be looking around for a new dentist with a stable and competent staff.
