While my visit was one of the least enjoyable I've ever had at the vet, it was not because of the vet. The office is very clean and did not smell as they sometimes do and the staff is very polite and kind. My cat had to be put to sleep and this was conveyed to me very clearly and done quickly. It appeared to be done as painlessly as possible and all of our requests were adhered to quickly without question (we wanted to remain present the entire time, take the body home and not have him wrapped in plastic for a more natural burial). They also gave us a paw imprint and neatly scratched his name into it. Overall, I have no idea what they could have done better. Maybe an option for cremation- we bury but I know some people prefer that. I'd like to take my dog there in the future and see how that goes, because I feel like a regular visit would be totally different from this kind of visit.
