Who We Are

SHONA is a Bengali word from the country of India, meaning gold. Commonly, it is used as a term of endearment for family members, such as children and spouses and in the sense of "My Precious Loved One". It was this use of the word that sparked the inspiration for starting Shona Salon & Spa. We wanted a place where service was the number one priority and people felt less like a customer and more like family. In today's fast paced society, true personal service has suffered, and instead often one is made to feel like a number and less like a person with individual needs. We want each guest to know that they are precious to us and that we appreciate them choosing to visit Shona Salon & Spa. There are many salons and spas to choose from and we know that developing a relationship is important. We strive to have every client feel while they are here they need not worry about the stresses of daily life, and they can relax and be pampered in caring and capable hands.
