The salon was nice and stylist very attentive. At first the color looked ok but once I got home it was much darker than I usually get and my face looks pale compared to the dark color. I am also concerned about the gray coverage. I do not think the coverage is going to hold up on my roots. That is the problem I have with most salons. The color starts to wash out around 2 weeks after color. We will see in about 2 weeks!

I have been a regular customer for 5 years but in 2017 I have had two very poor customer service experiences which have led me to look elsewhere for haircuts and coloring. The first occurred in January. I had an appointment scheduled for weeks and confirmed my appointment electronically earlier that week as requested by the salon, only to learn that the salon closed that day due to predicted poor weather. I do not fault the salon for closing, but I was not notified of the closure in any way, shape or form until I arrived to find a sign on the door which left me in a serious lurch 2 hours before a major event. The second issue arose this week when I received an email advertising that the salon was open this Sunday as it would be closed all Labor Day weekend. I was shocked by this given I made arrangements for a cut and color for 9/2 THREE MONTHS EARLIER. Again, zero personalized notification to me - if I had not happened to check the advertisement, I would have been left in the dark again, this time hours before a family wedding! I just cannot risk the chance of a third incident. Please figure out the problem and correct it. I've always been pleased with the work provided and hate not being able to trust that appointments will be kept.

Pauline was my stylist for many years, however, I hadn't been to her in 2+ years because of various reasons. This last appointment with her reminded me how much I really did miss her. She is amazing and I hope to be able to keep up a routine schedule with her. Thank you, Pauline!

I had been to Studio Branca in Creve Coeur several times for wax services and always had such a great experience that I decided to take a chance and see a hair professional there for a bold new look. Anna gave me the best cut, color and style I have had in years!!! I was wowed! Worth every penny. Great atmosphere and the best people in the industry work there. I cannot say enough. If you have never tried Studio Branca, DO IT! You will be thrilled with the results.

Everyone was very nice and professional. The place was clean. I am always nervous getting my blonde hair highlighted by a new person. They did alright in that it wasn't brassy; however it came out more ashy white than desired which makes my hair look like its a few different colors- whitish on top with more gold from my previous highlights on the bottom. I'm hoping this isn't something a lot of people notice other than myself and I'm hoping it softens with a bit of time. The biggest disappointment was the price. Not only did they charge $100 for a partial highlight (which was fine but not great) and $73 for a simple, 2 minute trim (!) they also ended up charging me another 60 some dollars for some hair treatments that they never even asked me if I wanted- I assumed it just came with the shampoo after coloring since they didn't ask if I wanted it or indicate that they would be charging for those things! If they had just told me about those extra costs it wouldn't have left such a bad taste in my mouth, but instead it made the whole experience seem really shady and WAY overpriced for what I got.
