While the actual service provided, a waxing, looks ok I was very disappointed in the demeanor and attitude of the woman who provided it. I will say that she's not the girl I usually go to, and I won't go to her again. I go to your spa specifically because it is a relaxing, friendly atmosphere and I've always felt like a valued customer before. This time I was made to feel as if I were a nuisance to be handled before a "better" client came in. My service, though simple, was rushed and I was treated to a whole list of things I should be waxing. I was even told "I don't want to pick on you, but you have 'xyz' that you should think about taking care of." What?! How rude. Provide the service I ask for, fake a pleasant manner if you have to, and please don't offer unsolicited beauty advice. Times are tough and the one spa treatment I do for myself is what I can afford. It is a luxury for me (since I don't get manicures or wear a lot of makeup, as was also pointed out to me). I help pay this woman's salary, and tip well, she's not doing me a favor. Maybe she had an off day, I can understand that. But when one works in the service industry, one has to always treat the customer respectfully. I will return to the salon but will make sure to make an appointment with my usual, always welcoming waxing pro.
I am so sorry you were not happy with your experience especially since you are a longtime client of the salon. We strive to make everyone's visit with us a wonderful and pampering time and I'm sorry we fell short. As per our conversation, we will make it up to you on your next visit.
