Tarheel Fireplace & Grill Shop is owned and operated by Roy Murray of Hertford, NC. Beginning as a chimney sweep service in 1992, Tarheel Fireplace & Grill has grown from a small in-home hearth products and service shop to the current location at 657 Ocean Hwy. S. in Hertford where Roy continues to sell, install and service a variety of wood, pellet and gas stoves, fireplaces and gas logs.

In 2002, Roy started a competition bbq team "Tarheel Smokers" and expanded the shop to include grills, grilling accessories, bbq rubs and sauces. Still growing, the shop now includes grill islands, grilling accessories, pergolas, fire pits, gas lanterns, outdoor furniture, flags, spinners and more.

His specialty has now become creating amazing outdoor living spaces which transform your yard while adding space and value to your home.
