I really enjoyed the way the hair stylist colored my hair. She did exactly as I asked even without a picture! BUT I am slightly disappointed with the cost though and service. The girl at the front desk did not greet me when I walked in and stood on her phone for the first few minutes of me being in the shop. She did not offer me anything to drink and I had to ask where to put my coat when I saw there was a closet for storage next to where she was standing on her phone. It was not a very warm welcome and I felt almost unwanted as a customer. My
Hair stylist was nice but did not talk for the first hour of my appointment. She later apologized saying she had a migraine- which I understand- but after my not so warm welcome from the front desk, I felt slightly weird. Lastly, I signed up on Facebook as a new client and was promised it would be 20% off my service (which is the main reason I decided to give the salon a try! I am new to Lakewood) I went to checkout and my total was $179. I notified the girl ringing me out that I should be receiving my 20% off and she said okay then only gave me $9 off.. I'm not sure how she calculated it but that's not 20%. I then went on Instagram to check out the site and realized there was a post startling my stylist was new and any new clients would received $20 off their first appointment with her within the next week- why would no one mention this, the $20 could have been added to the tip!! For a very expensive service (not including tip) I felt really cheated. I didn't get any discount like I was promised and didn't really feel like I was wanted as a client in the first place. Overall, my experience was ok. Not the worst but definitely not the best. I was really looking forward to this pampering all week due to the wonderful reviews I read so hopefully I was the only client with this experience.
