I was someone who rarely ever returned to a salon or stylist since my hair is fairly easy to manage (I tended to only cut it twice a year) and all salons seemed the same and I never had much of a connection with a stylist. This changed for me with Therapy Salon and Sarah Zebb. I came across it on accident - I wasn't looking for a salon, but because I was so ambivalent on the topic and was interested to as always try a new spot I booked an appointment!
The salon truly lives up to their name. They pamper you: first offering you wine or tea and a salon robe to change into to not get hairs stuck in your clothes. Then you get a relaxing head massage and aromatherapy before your shampoo. the products are all Aveda so they smell earthy and soothing and not irritating like a lot of other salon chemicals do to me. The conversation is easy and not forced. The environment all around lovely - lots of natural light and fresh but minimalist decor. I can't say enough about this place.
On top of it all Sarah is a community angel with her volunteer and donation work. She cuts hair for cancer patients with compassion and care both physically tending to their needs of heightened skin sensitivity and emotionally being vulnerable. I love supporting someone so generous and thinking of others. I found my forever salon :)
