I had purchased a new set of tires 9 months ago, and within the first 100 miles I had a tire bubble. They replaced it under the warranty with no problem. Two flats later and a leaking valve stem, which was covered under warranty, I had another tire bubble on me. When I went to the tire store, I told them I DID NOT WANT THOSE TIRES ON MY CARE FOR SAFETY REASONS. The manager at first said no and that they would replace the tire. I then told them that because of the bubbles that were on 2 of the 4 tires, they were defective and I would not settle for less than replacing all 4 tires. I then said that I was going to another tire business to get them all replaced and that they were losing a valued and loyal customer that had been using their services for many years and that I had spent a lot of money fixing, repairing and maintaining my vehicle with them using their in store credit card. The manager then went into her office and eventually came out and said they would replace all 4 tires, balance and mount them and transfer my road hazard fees too, at no cost to me!
I could not have been more elated hearing this. They worked it out and I was once again on the road. My many thanks to the store manager, Cheryl, who saw my anger when this second tire bubbled. Although not the stores fault for a faulty tire, she took control, reassured me things were going to work out and once again I was a well satisfied customer. I cant thank her enough for her patience and time and most of all understanding the problem and resolving it promptly with the utmost concern for my safety in a vehicle. the tires that bubbled, both on the outside and inside of tire, were defective from the factory and not the stores fault. Her experience and most of all, her compassion to rectify the situation was admirable at the least on her part. Thank you Tire Works and Chery!
