When we first came to Florida we used Tuffy's all the time and felt the were honest and capable. Last couple of years we have had problems. From not completing the complete oil change we paid for and trying to sell us a repair that wasn't needed and not diagnosing a problem correctly. Which I don't quite understand since they use a computer.

Brought my 2004 Taurus for flushing and filling AC after installation of a new compressor. They didn't do flushing, the compressor broke. Flushing is a requirement to claim warranty. So, we lost the compressor and the warranty - had to buy a new compressor, pay for its installation and filling again. The loss: $400+.

Easy to get an appointment scheduled, and they were on time when I showed up. Overall I think the quality of work was good, and there was not a hard press to sell a bunch of other stuff than I wasn't there for. Only real complaint is the last 2 oil changes I have had to return the next day because of a leak

Professional, friendly and great all around service. Highly recommend whenever possible. I have since traded my Mustang for a 2008 IS250 Lexis w/five year warranty and Lexis will be taking care of my car during this period.

I first took a Jeep Cherokee and now a Pontiac Vibe to Tuffy's. I found Darren 6 years ago when I had a tire problem and took the car to several tire places but Darren was the only one who immediately took the car for a test drive and inspected the inside wear on the tires. Some dealers didn't even look at the tires! He found the problem and gave me a good price on new tires plus recommending an alignment to correct the uneven wear. I like the way he was not condescending to a woman customer. George, Phil and others at Tuffy are always willing to explain their work and are polite, friendly and respectful. I like knowing what's happening with my car and being able to discuss problems with experienced mechanics.
