Mr. Martin Frankel most recent visited to our facility was on 12/24/2014 , since then we have not received [until now] any complaint, we contacted Martin to ask why the bad review, and he said that we did not fix or resolve his electrical problem back on the aforementioned date, Martin said that he sold the vehicle and the buyer had had the vehicle repaired, when John asked why he didn?t let us Know that the problem was not resolved on the first visit, he said that we would charge him again for the same problem, And Martin appeared to getting upset and said that he Did not want to [Talk about it anymore] before I could discuss his complaint further or make any kind of a compensation.
We do not charge again to repair or diagnose the same problem or concern! But we always encourage our customers to let us know if there are any concerns after their visit, [we cannot fix the problem if we don?t know about it]!
Below is a copy of the work order testing results and repair
Start ?TROUBLESHOOTED TO FIND OUT WHY THERE IS A PARICITIC BATTERY DRAIN WHICH CAUSES A NO START AFTER APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS, WE DISCOVERED A AMP DRAIN THAT WAS ALTERNATING BETWEEN APPROXIMATELY 3.5 AMPS AND 0.5 AMPS ON THE AUX POWER FUSE [LOCATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE PANEL].
AFTER AN EXTENDED TIME OF TROUBLE SHOOTING WE TRACKED THE SOURCE OF THE DRAIN TO AFTERMARKET "COMAIR ROTRON" DEVICES INSTALLED IN BOTH FRONT SEATS, THESE DEVICES WERE CONNECTED TO THE POWER OUTLET WIRING HARNESS UNDER THE CENTER CONSOLE.? END
We Disconnected the device which stopped the battery drain, Martin agreed to leave the aftermarket seat heating/air conditioning system disconnected to stop the battery drain, that was causing a no start after approximately 3 days.
We have sent Mart a Copy of this note for his record.
