Love, love, love Jenesis! (Five stars) I feel she listens to my input and ideas yet gets creative when I tell her to “surprise” me. She’s a great conversationalist on days when I wanna talk, and can also just do her thing on the occasional late appt. when I’m too tired to chat.
Now, onto the salon... (two stars) not my favorite experience. Most of this is large changes like building and facilities. Horrendous lighting that makes me look sickly. I legit wear extra bronzer to my appt so as not to feel ghostly while in there. Old dressers, shampoo station etc. I do like that you offer the Aveda tea. I just would hope for more. Clean up garbage outside, remove gum from sidewalk, little things. Prices keep increasing, I hope it goes to staff because it’s not remodeling.
Amanda, we agree, we love Jenesis too! We also agree that it is time for the salon to have a makeover, so our Operations team is working with a local design firm to develop plans for a complete redesign of the space. Our goal is to have the project completed sometime in the third quarter this year! We appreciate that you took the time to share your observations with us. And although we have not had a price increase in over a year, we like to think that we take good care of our staff!
