I got a very thorough examination and was provided lots of information regarding problems that I might have in the future (what to look out for and how to go about those problems). My only regret is every time I ask the doctor of who can perform the surgery if I will need it, the answer is always that I will be referred to a doctor in Anchorage. I believe Kenai is big enough to have somebody local to perform those type of surgeries that eventually be needed as you get older.

Made me feel at ease since I had to try so many different contacts. I felt like a nuisance, but they assured me they wanted me to see as best as possible.

Friendly and very helpful with both glasses and contacts. First time with contacts and they let me take my time and didn't make me feel rushed. I also had a breast feeding baby with me and they let me feed while I waited and let me finish before my appointment started.

My appointment was @10:45, I was seen by the dr. @ 11:20, my time is pretty valuable. I don't wait that long to see my medical dr. Then @ check out, I was informed what frames to choose from, but not told which frames my insurance pays for. In the past these appointments have cost me $10. I paid almost $400. & that was 1/2 of my bill. I was told this is what you need & not given any options. Hindsight, I should have asked, I really doubt I will return.

We understand that your time is valuable and strive to minimize the total time of your visit while maximizing care quality. We are always here for you if you have an acute problem, and taking care of an eye emergency put our team several minutes behind. Your care started with our technician 13 minutes after your appointed time and included pretesting, health history, and retinal screening prior to seeing the doctor, and I apologize for the wait. Copays are dictated by your insurance. While this year's exam copay was $10, the remaining copays were for the 2 pairs of glasses you selected. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

I was pleased and satisfied with my initial visit for an exam. My glasses arrived, they are perfect and I am happy. I am older and have had trouble the last several years getting a good exam so really appreciate the good service and great exam.
