First, I would like to say that the staff at Animal Clinic have all been very nice, but I was very unhappy with the service my dog had received. I dropped off my dog for boarding and I inquired if my dogs visit was listed to include doggy day care. I was informed that it was included in his visit. I specifically inquired prior to payment because I wanted my dog to exercise/play and would have paid the additional cost. When I had picked up my dog, I was given a report on how my dog did with his visit, but noticed there was no mention about how he had done in day care. I asked the staff and together we realized that my dog was not in day care. I was upset that my dog did not receive the service I had asked for. I did some research and as it turns out, I was not charged for the day care but was still unhappy about the care of my dog. I don't know if it was a communication failure or if the intake staff was flustered when unable to print the receipt and did not document or notate the service I had requested. This was not the first time I had boarded my dog at AC and did not have any issues previously. Was very disappointed with his last visit.
In addition, I understand this facility no longer accepts the oral bordetella as of 07/11/2017, it would be greatly appreciated to inform your clients when calling in for a reservation of this NEW policy, possibly over the next 6 months since that is the duration of the vaccination.
