I really wish you gave me an estimate of the Costs prior. My credit card is now maxed out and I have another appt for my Mina ev en ay west paws I knew expenses before hand ... I don't even know if I can afford Mina's care at this point

12 years we have brought our dog there, her entire life. We have a Care Credit card for the dogs medical expenses which we typically pay with. They don't keep card info on file which I totally understand.

This past 7 months has been extremely difficult for our family. My mother passed away suddenly from cancer. My father has Parkinson's and this past week has been in the hospital awaiting a bed at a nursing home. He has been in and out of the hospital & nursing home for 2 years.

The dog had an eye infection so I called the vet & brought her in. They asked me for the credit card # when I scheduled the appointment and I explained the credit card was in my father's wallet at the hospital, that I called him and asked for the card # but he couldn't get to the card. He would call me when PT or a nurse could get him up to get to his wallet across the room.

They asked for the card # again when we got to the appointment an hour later & I explained I still did not have the #.

When she was done with her visit they did not bring her out to me & told me if I did not pay they would not release her meds & make her follow up appointment.

I called my father again, he called for assistance to get up, could not read the card in the dark, it took 20 minutes to get all the card info correctly before I could get the bill paid & retrieve the dog & the meds.

We have always paid our bill for her visits to the vet. 12 years of being a loyal customer, going to visits multiple times per year, there was no need for that. Life is difficult as it is there was no need for all of that.

Needless to say I did not make a follow-up appointment. I will call if it doesn't go away.

We needed to put our Tanzy down. Westshore was very professional and made her very comfortable for the end. Not a happy story but the girls took special care of her all her life and til the end.

Absolutely awful. I was told in my paperwork that my dog was a waste of a appointment because all he got was a rabies and a yearly exam. I was told another dog could have used that time. I was talked down to because of this as well. These people automatically judged me. I guess I didn’t spend enough. One hundred dollars for having my dog 20 mins wasn’t sufficient . I was told I should go to pet co.
