I love the veterinarians, techs and receptionists at WVH without fail.
There was an issue some years back when Razor severed an artery and two tendons. If we had it been home he would have died. Fortunately I knew how to apply a compression bandage. WVH told us there was a two hour wait (it was a Saturday). Horribly upset we drove to Rancho Cordova where he as immediately taken to surgery. I let WVH know how mid-handled this was and they changed their protocol for events like what Razor went through were changed. Kudos WVH for that.
I must report that the high cost of there specialty foods have been talked about by my friends and I. I was out of town and needed Razor's special food and purchased it at 1/3 the price of what WVH cost. The exorbitant prices for care is unmatched in this area. I know a lot of people who are talking about leaving WVH because of their prices and I hate to see that happen to such a wonderful facility. I would highly recommend WVH, but would caution the person regarding their costs.
